Consilio have secured planning permission for the change of use of the site to tyre sales and car repairs on Uxbridge Road, Hayes. Working with our design team, on behalf of a local business, the proposal will see the re-use of existing buildings on a parcel of land surrounded by residential dwellings.

One of the key considerations that needed to be addressed during the planning process was the vehicular movements and noise that would arise from the site. We were able to demonstrate that the proposed use would not be as intensive in terms of vehicular movements or noise when compared to the existing use. With detailed noise and highways reports submitted as part of the scheme the Council’s officers agreed that the proposal would satisfy local UDP requirements and planning was forthcoming.

The application was decided by the Council under delegated powers. We are now retained by the applicant to submit full planning applications for sites within the local vicinity.
