Consilio are pleased to have assisted a local landowner, whose family history within the area dated 4 generations. Following detailed pre-app with the Council which received a favourable response, the Council chose to renegade on their original comments and refuse permission for 4 office units to the rear of an existing retail unit.

With the input of our Heritage consultant we were able to demonstrate that the proposal would not impact the setting of the heritage asset, and its design had been carefully pieced together to respect the host building.

The Inspector concluded that the proposal would amount to less than substantial harm, and would result in the delivery of important office space within an established local High Street further strengthening its vitality.
