20 Nov Residential Appeal allowed in Ickenham
Consilio Town Planning have successfully secured planning permission for residential extensions, on behalf of a client in Ickenham.
Having had two schemes refused by the London Borough of Hillingdon, we were instructed by the landowner to assist their architect in preparing a strategy moving forward. Subsequently, it was decided to appeal the more recent refused scheme.
The Inspector concluded that the overall scale, design and appearance of the extensions were wholly suitable for the dwellings architectural type. The Inspector agreed with our statement in that the scheme had limited impact on the amenities of the neighbouring dwelling, and that the Council’s suggestion with regards to overlooking was not sufficient to warrant dismissing the appeal.
We’re glad to have once more supported a local, young family in achieving planning permission at appeal.
