01 May 6000 sq ft warehouse expansion approved in Wycombe
Consilio Town Planning have secured full planning permission for the extension to an existing warehouse (Class B8) incorporating a first floor mezzanine. The extension will deliver a further 6,000 sq.ft of operational space for a growing courier company located within Wycombe.
The site provided a number of constraints, notably its location and a handful of protected trees in close proximity to the siting of the proposed extension building. In conjunction with our colleagues at SJA Trees (Surrey) we were able to demonstrate to the Council’s tree officer that through careful management and dig methods, the development would not impact the trees on site.
The Council agreed with the report and supporting information provided, that the development would respect the sensitive nature of the site. The client commended the Consilio Planning and Design team who took the initial proposal through to approval in less than 12 weeks.
Achieving approval reflects the sound working relationship Consilio have, engaging likeminded development professionals to achieve a favourable outcome for our clients.
