Consilio Town Planning have secured consent for the change of use of an existing retail unit to 2 x self-contained flats.

Utilising Class M of the General Permitted Development Order the scheme will see a more efficient use of the land. The existing building had not been trading for a number of years and was failing to generate interest due to its location. After careful consideration, consent was granted by LPA as the application demonstrated that the scheme met the requirements of the relevant schedule and class.

The applicant now plans to undergo the works as soon as possible. A great start to the year for the team and exactly how we mean to carry on!
