08 Nov Planning consent for extensions in Green Belt in Iver

Consilio Town Planning have successfully secured Planning consent, on behalf of a landowner for significant extensions and alterations to a dwelling within the Green Belt Settlement of Iver.

The site provided a number of constraints being sited within the Green Belt and Colne Valley Park. Working closely with our in house design team and town planner, a scheme was designed that ensured the proposed extensions satisfied local and national Green Belt policies. A robust planning statement was prepared to support the application which demonstrated that the schemes could be considered to be ‘disproportionate additions’.

The Council agreed with the floorspace calculations provided by Consilio Town Planning, and that the scheme was in accordance with paragraph 145 of the National Planning Policy Framework (2018).
